Opening Day for the 8-mile first segment
of the Hiawatha Light Rail Line was June 26, 2004. The train on the
left is the first to leave the station and carried Minnesota Governor
Tim Pawlenty, Minneapolis Mayor R. T. Rybak and many other
dignitaries. |
