I flew to
San Francisco twice in 1999. Both times, my travel
companion was Glen Blomgren of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Here is Glen near Cliff House in San Francisco.
Lombard
Street, the crookedest street in the world. It is located
a few blocks south of Fishermans' Wharf
Glen
walking a narrow lane in Chinatown.
The
Victorian park in Fishermans' Wharf was a viewpoint for a
3-master and Alcatraz Island.
Help!
Help! Lemme out!
Authentic
replica of Alcatraz cell. But how did I get in here,
anyway?
A view up
Mason on the Powell-Mason Cable Car line. Glen is riding
ahead of me and is in view.
Early in a
long walk that brought Glen Blomgren and I from
Sausalito, California clear across the Golden Gate Bridge
to San Francisco.
See the
wheels that drive the cables that pull the cable cars
along the streets of San Francisco. They are located in
the Cable Car Museum which is also the Cable Car Barn.
